Quick Question: Will U/W/R Control continue to show its dominance or were the last two weeks… a miracle?
Will U/W/R Control continue to show its dominance or were the last two weeks… a miracle?
Brad Nelson The wins with U/W/R proved it’s not about the deck as long as you’re a skilled player. Both wins were from very skilled players, and U/W/R is a deck that definitely hinges on a lot of play skill. So I don’t think it’s going anywhere. Shaheen Soorani A miracle. I think it’s a good control deck, but I’ve seen it in the hands of less experienced players and they’ve fallen on their face. It’s not easy to play. Todd Anderson If people bring Abrupt Decays the deck will be a lot worse. Brian Braun-Duin I feel like U/W/R is pretty well positioned against a lot of the Combo decks. The Combo decks rose to dominance because of the prevalence of Jund. I’d expect Jund to make a comeback soon. Jarvis Yu If we’re talking Legacy (it could be any format), I wouldn’t personally play it. Winning the game takes a long time, and there are a lot of decisions that are easy to mess up. David McDarby Well, there’s always going to be a blue-white deck in every format. Jesse Snyder I’d say it’ll stick around for a while just based on the fact that U/W Miracles has had such success in recent months. Richard Nguyen I think Miracles will always be around. It has all the cards you want! |
