Magic Online Digital Designer for R&D Ryan Spain recently wrote an article entitled "The Beta Goes On" in which he goes into detail about some of the changes to Magic Online in the upcoming Beta client. Among the changes coming in the Beta update on March 13, 2013, are:

• Promo Codes (redeemable only through the Beta client).
• "M" key shortcut for mana tapping permanents.
• Context menu changes when left-clicking cards.
• More area in Limited deck building screen.
• Small fixes to Trade, Chat, and Collection functions.
