A new book entitled 'The Gathering: Reuniting Pioneering Artists of Magic: the Gathering' from Full Steam Press, LLC, highlights the art and artists from Magic's early years in commemoration of Magic's 20th anniversary. Over 30 of Magic's early artists, including Quinton Hoover, Jesper Myfors, Mark Poole, and Pete Venters have contribured to the 80 page limited edition tome.

The various artists have contributed new pieces, such as Dan Frazier's Golden Mox Dragon (see below), to the book and also showcase the artists' evolution and history with Magic.

On February 26th, 2013, a Kickstarter page was launched to try to raise enough money to reach their $32,000 goal, and within the first 24 hours their initial goal was met.
