StarCity Games.com President Pete Hoefling has announced a series of major changes to the StarCityGames.com Open Series, including more money paid out at each Open Weekend.

The centerpiece of the new Open Weekends, starting with the Open Series featuring the Invitational in Seattle December 13-14, is a two-day Open with a $20,000 prize pool, including $5,000 for first place. Each Open Weekend also features two $5,000 Premier IQs on Sunday for a total of $30,000 in cash prizes.
