The Big Magic Open returns, sponsored by StarCityGames.com and held on October 25-26, 2014 in Yokohama, Japan. A partnership between StarCityGames.com and Japanese tournament organizer Big Magic, the Big Magic Open is the second SCG-sponsored Open-level event outside North America, after the previous Big Magic Open in April.

The two main tournaments of the Big Magic Open, Saturday Legacy on October 25 and Sunday Standard on October 26, will award the same number of Open Points as a North American Open. Both tournaments have prize pools of one million (1,000,000) yen paid out to 64th place and the Top 8 finishers in each will receive invitations to one of the following four StarCityGames.com Invitationals.

In addition, Saturday has a major side event, the Invitational Challenge. This Standard-format event will grant four invitations to one of the following four StarCityGames.com Invitationals and the winner will receive airfare to attend!
