The StarCityGames.com Open Series has added Modern-format Premier IQs to its Open Weekends, starting July 19-20 in Baltimore. The Premier IQs are Invitational Qualifiers paying out $5,000 in prize money and granting four places in a future SCG Invitational.

All Open Weekends will continue to have Standard and Legacy Opens, but to accommodate the new events, a few changes will affect each weekend’s schedule. On Saturdays, the Standard Open will complete its Swiss rounds but the Top 8 will begin on Sunday mornings at 8 AM local time. Legacy Opens will begin at 9 AM on Sunday, followed by Modern Premier IQs at 10 AM.

Complete new schedule:

Saturday:
10:00 am - Standard Open (Swiss portion)
3:00 pm - 2HG Challenge
5:00 pm - Legacy Open Trial

Sunday:
8:00 am – Standard Open Top 8
9:00 am - Legacy Open
10:00 am - Modern Premiere IQ
1:00 pm - 2HG Challenge
3:00 pm - Standard Open Trial
