In a statement released on March 11, Magic Online Executive Producer Worth Wollpert announced that the online qualifiers for Pro Tour Magic 2015 had been cancelled.

The cancellation comes less than a month after the events were announced. The online Pro Tour Qualifiers (PTQs) would have been the first such events since November 2013, when multiple important Magic Online events crashed and community outcry led Wizards of the Coast to suspend almost all high-level tournaments on the service.

Magic Online Championship Series (MOCS) events have been delayed as well. The statement promises an updated timeline on the return of online PTQs and MOCS tournaments by the end of April.
