In an article by Sean Gibbons on DailyMTG.com entitled Wizards Team Announcement, the Wizards of the Coast team for the Magic Online Community Cup was announced, as well as the prizes the MTGO community will earn if the team wins or loses. The Wizards Team includes:

     Brian Clinton, Wizards of the Coast Online Response Crew Lead

     Dave Humphries, Magic Developer

     Mike Turian, Magic Online Digital Project Manager (@mturian)

     Ryan Spain, Magic Online Digital Designer (@RyanSpain)

     Sam Stoddard, Magic Developer (@samstod)

     Sean Gibbons, Magic Assistant Community Manager (@SeanGibbons)

     Worth Wollpert, Magic Online Executive Producer (@mtgworth)

The Community Team was announced earlier this month.

In addition to bragging rights, the #MTGOCC will also feature additional stakes: If the Community Team wins, Magic Online players who logged in between August 30 at 10am and August 31 at 7pm Pacific, which is during the Community Cup, will be granted a premium foil Sliver Queen promo and Rakdos Cackler FNM promo on September 4. Should the Community Team lose and the Wizards Team emerge victorious, Magic Online players who logged in during that time will instead receive a foil promo version of Gatecrash common Totally Lost.

The Community Cup will take place at PAX Prime on August 30-31 in Seattle, Washington.
