Another Monday is here and another weekend of exciting Magic the Gathering action is over.
Starting off in the New England area StarCityGames.com held an SCG Open in Worcester, Ma. 482 players showed up for the event which meant 10 rounds of Standard action. Through a top 8 literally littered with Jund Decks Michael Bond took down the entire show with his Junk Aristocrats Deck.
Moving to the Legacy half of the weekend a healthy 305 players showed up to take part in the 9 round event. In a different turn of events the finals found itself with a RUG Delver mirror match with Jacob Wilson coming out on top.
SCG Open Worcester Full Event Coverage
The SCG Open was not the only Magic being played this weekend. GP Kansas City happened as well and the format there was Modern. Seth Manfield took down the entire tournament with Melira-Pod, making it two Modern GPs in a row won by the Mid-Range/Combo Deck
