Golgari felt like it had no bad matchups and I never play standard. Mono Red feels like I'm playing a Legacy deck.

I have been playing Tokens since week 2 of GRN Standard and I picked up the Phoenix deck after Ross's win with it in Baltimore and it felt extremely powerful

Why did you choose to go with the decks you played this weekend?
I expected Phoenix to be popular and dredge is very good against it. Phoenix is also very resilient to graveyard hate so I figured would skimp on it. In Standard Golgari is the best deck.

Selesnya: I chose to play Tokens because I felt it was well positioned against the large amount of Golgari I expected. Storm: I have played Storm since seething song was legal. I do not know how to play another modern deck.

Thought cheap protection and ability to power out Niv-Mizzet was great across the board. I hate Modern and just settled on the most powerful deck.
