All teams with 18 points made Day 2, meaning 39 teams would return to battle for a shot at the Top 8 of the Team Constructed Open at #SCGVEGAS. Standard has been chiseled down to the top decks with Golgari Midrange leading the field, followed closely by Izzet Drakes and Jeskai Control.
In Modern, no deck had more than five copies as Bant Spirts capped the field while Mono-Green Tron, Humans, and Izzet Phoenix all had four pilots each. There were more Arclight+Phoenix decks floating around with the card showing up in Runaway Red, Grixis Phoenix, and Mardu Phoenix.
For Legacy, Grixis Control continues to be the biggest player in the format with seven players on the deck this weekend. Sneak and Show and Dimir Shadow each had four pilots, while Grixis Delver, Storm, and Miracles all had three. Check out each format’s Day 2 metagame breakdown below.
