No. It is good but doesn't restrict the metagame. Also reanimator mirrors are miserable.

No, Deathrite keeps a lot of broken archetypes in check. Grixis Delver may be too strong however.

This is my first Legacy tournament, and I felt playing something proactive and disruptive would be a good idea.

I personally believe it does too much for the mana investment, and wouldn't be surprised if it was ever banned.
